Aberdeen Artists Society

How to join Aberdeen Artists Society

The Society will be bringing in a new membership structure this year. For this year all existing members will hold the same membership level. From 2018 all members will be required to go through a submission procedure based on the former Professional Membership criteria. For more information please contact the Society using the contact form.

Membership of the Society is open to artists resident both, within and out with the Northeast of Scotland. Amongst other benefits, membership allows you to submit your work to the Annual Exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery at a discounted rate for members. The Society also aims to mount Members only exhibitions at reduced submissions rates. Other benefits include a reduction in the commission on sale of works within an AAS exhibition and a 10% reduction on works purchased from an AAS exhibition. Members are also entitled to a listing with an image, on the Artists pages of this site with Professional members having up to three images of their work.
