How to join Aberdeen Artists Society
Membership of the Society is open to artists resident both, within and out with the Northeast of Scotland. Besides being a member of a widely recognised independent art society, other member benefits include: a discounted members submission rate for shows (including the Annual Exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery); a reduction in commission on sale of works from an AAS exhibition, and a 10% reduction on works purchased from an AAS exhibition. The Society also aims to mount Members only exhibitions at reduced submissions rates.

Ordinary Membership
In addition to the membership benefits noted above, Members can create their own gallery and artist profile in a dedicated area of the AAS website. Members may also use AAS Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts to publicise their own work and exhibitions.

The Society encourages Student Membership. This has the same benefits as Ordinary membership but at a reduced membership fee. To qualify, a student must show a valid and up to date student card when paying their membership fees.
